Today we submitted our USCIS!!! For those of you who do not know what this is, the USCIS is the paperwork we file with the United States Government to apply to adopt a child from another country. To be approved to do this, we fill out their forms, supply them with proof of our income, along with some other paperwork. The next step is to wait until we have confirmation that they have received our paperwork then wait for them to issue an appointment for us to get fingerprinted.
Our paperwork for our Dossier is almost finished and as soon as we have gotten the ok from the USCIS we can submit our dossier!! We are getting so so close!! Please keep us in your prayers that we will get a quick reply from USCIS and get our fingerprint appointment soon as well.
